BERNHARD SCHULTE SHIPMANAGEMENT (BSM) PAYS A WORKING VISIT TO RMU

The Director, Human Resource Marine of Bernhard Schulte (BSM) Ship management, Ms. Eva Rodriguez and two senior members of BSM paid a working visit to the Regional Maritime University (RMU) on Monday, 5th September, 2022.

The purpose of the visit was to discuss issues that would lead to the expansion of collaboration between Bernhard Schulte Shipping and RMU

The collaboration between the two institutions dates from 2015 through a memorandum of understanding (MOU) where BSM would provide onboard ship practical training for RMU cadets. This arrangement has led to a significant increase in job opportunities for RMU graduates. The population of RMU cadets onboard BSM ships was thirty (30) in 2012. Presently, there are over five hundred (500) RMU cadets sailing onboard the numerous fleets of vessels from BSM. In brief, Bernhard Schulte Shipmanagement (BSM) has become a maritime solutions provider for RMU. The organization manages, a fleet of over 650 vessels, 20,000 seafarers and 2,000 shore-based employees.

The meeting was attended by RMU management team and some high-profile officials of Bernhard Schulte Shipmanagement.
