On the 5th of April, 2022, the Regional Maritime University (RMU), in collaboration with the Management Development and Productivity Institute (MDPI), a training institution in Accra, organized an in-house Workshop in Administrative Management Skills for twenty-four (24) Administrative Staff.
The Workshop, which took place at the RMU Schulte Maritime Services Conference hall, covered topics on competency based skills in administrative procedures, communication, human relations and records management.
In his address during the opening ceremony of the Workshop, the Ag. Vice Chancellor, Dr. Jethro Brooks Jr., urged participants to utilize the opportunity the training affords to improve upon their competencies and skills to positively impact their performances on the job.
Others present at the opening ceremony included the University Registrar, Dr. Baboucarr Njie; Ag. Deputy Registrar (Administration), Mad. Rejoice Norgbey Agbesi and the twenty-four (24) trainees.
Certificates were awarded to the trainees at the end of the training programme.
