RMU CAMPUS DISINFECTED AGAINST COVID-19 PANDEMIC

On 1st May, 2020 (May Day Celebration), the Regional Maritime University (RMU) Campus was extensively disinfected by the ZoomLion Group. RMU was one of the beneficiaries of the CSR exercise carried out by ZoomLion Ghana Limited as their contribution to the Government of Ghana in the fight against COVID-19 Pandemic.

The Waste Management Company used equipment like motorized spraying machines, phoenix logger machines (car mounted), knapsacks among many in undertaking of the assignment of spraying RMU classrooms, administration block, anchorage among others.

Disinfection exercise carried out at the library / classroom. 

Speaking during the exercise, the Vice Chancellor, Professor Elvis Nyarko expressed appreciation to the Management of ZoomLion for their timely intervention and added that, the fumigation exercise was crucial in the fight against Corona Virus. The exercise he added, was necessary to prepare the University for smooth academic work and alley the fears of students and parents, that students will be safe when school resumes.
