Programme Objectives

The programme aims to produce procurement and operations management students with training in maritime-related knowledge, as well as the mindset, discipline, and skill set necessary to perform the duties of procurement and operations management professionals in public and private organizations.

2. Graduates program can also qualify for exemptions from the requirements to become chartered with the Institute of Procurement and Supply (UK), CIPS CILT.

Admission Requirements

WASSCE Applicants:

An applicant must have credit passes (A1 – C6) in six (6) subjects comprising three (3) core subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, plus any three (3) electives subjects in business, General Arts or Science.

SSSCE Applicants:

An applicant must have credit passes (A – D) in six (6) subjects comprising three (3) core subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, plus any three (3) electives subjects in Business, Arts or Science.

HND Holders:    

Applicants with Business related programme certificates (Accounting, Marketing, Purchasing and Supply and Business Administration) with a minimum of 2nd Class Lower Division from accredited Tertiary Institutions may be admitted into level 300 first semester (semester 5).

Fees

The course for the programme is GHc 4,200 (Four thousand two hundred cedis) per academic year.
