A FUNCTIONAL STUDENTS REPRESENTATIVE COUNCIL GOVERNMENT
The Students Representative Council which was endorsed by the Board of Governors in 2010 has been operating cordially with the university’s management. The Students Representative Council fulfills its role as observer on the Students Affairs Committee, represents the student body at the Board of Governors Meeting and participates regularly at every orientation program.
Projects successfully undertaken by the Students Representative Council Government are: the “lovers’ bench”, located at the MOWCA Gardens and the park near the Registry, the Palaver Huts near the Mess facility, a Mini mart and an air-conditioned students lounge.
